Troyer Brothers Florida is one of the largest potato farms in the Southeast, with farms located in Lee and Collier Counties Florida.  Troyer Brothers specializes in raising white, red, and yellow potatoes which are sold locally, nationally and in Canada. We have been farming since 1943 and in Florida since 1983.

It is a family operation, owned by brothers Don, Vern, and David Troyer. Aaron Troyer is the operations manager and handles day to day details of the Company. Troyer Brothers is respected throughout the industry for the quality of its product and its efficient operations utilizing high-tech techniques to manage its fields.

Harvesting begins in February and continues through April.

Troyer Brothers has been farming in Southwest Florida for 30 years.  Over time we have developed and marketed red, yellow, and white potatoes that provide excellent value for the end consumer, and consistent quality and reliability that the retail industry demands.

Troyer Brothers has multiple farm locations throughout Southwest Florida minimizing weather related risk.  Plantings are such that the seasonal weather hazards, i.e. traditional heavy rains in the fall and freezes in winter, are reduced as much as possible.  This helps ensure steady and quality supply during our marketing window.  This provides many advantages to producing a quality final product, not the least of which is consistent quality and availability.

Our farm is enrolled in the State of Florida’s Best Management program and is Primus certified at the farm and packinghouse.

Troyer Brothers packing facility is in Fort Myers, Florida. It is in a central location that allows us to transport product from the field and prepare it for commercial sale. This includes washing, drying, grading, sizing, cooling, and packing in the appropriate material.
