This is our take on the classic mashed potatoes – using the highest quality Sun King potatoes from Troyer Brothers to make them extra tasty, buttery, and smooth. – Troyer Brothers potatoes (4-6 medium potatoes)
– Butter (2-3 table spoons)
– Salt and pepper
STEP 1: Peel and slice potatoes. Rinse potatoes in water to remove starch and place in cold water in a non-coated pot.
STEP 2: Bring to boil. Add salt to boiling water and let it boil for approximately 15-20 minutes.
STEP 3: Drain water.
STEP 4: Add salt and pepper.
STEP 5: Mash potatoes. Tip: Feel free to mash potatoes with an electric blender right in a pot as long as it is a non coated pot. Saves you time and extra dirty dishes.
STEP 6: Add milk and butter to your roughly mashed potatoes and keep blending until potatoes are smooth.
